Changes

So far this summer we have had a few changes- some that are exciting and others that are sad. Caleb is growing up so quickly! He had his first day of preschool today. A group of women in our ward at church invited us to participate in a preschool co-op with other kids Caleb's age. I am so excited for him to start learning new things! He is like a little sponge and it'll be great to have a little direction/structure for that learning to take place. I think this will also be a nice transition for him for when he goes to preschool sometime in the next year.

The other change happening for us in our neighborhood this month is that our dear friends and next door neighbors, Holly, Nate, Alex and Maddie, are moving. They have been our neighbors for the past 3 years and we have grown to love them very much and are going to miss them SO much more than words can express!!! Caleb is almost as comfortable at their house as he is at ours and loves spending time with them. Their 2 girls have gotten into the habit of calling Caleb their 'little brother' and once they even asked Holly if they could adopt him (sorry girls!!). We have spent countless hours hanging out in the afternoons between nap time and dinner. With Nate being a resident as well, we have even had many nights where we've all done dinner together when both hubbies have been on-call. They are moving on to St. Louis for Nate to do 2 years of fellowship. We wish them lots of happiness and success and of course, we hope that they'll visit us and keep in touch (hint, hint)!! We love you guys!!
