Christmas 2009

This past Christmas was a little different for a few reason. First, our family almost doubled in size this past year so there was a lot more prep needed to get ready (amazon.com is my friend)! Secondly, we were in the midst of packing to move. Because of this, and our recent trip to Utah, we decided to put up minimal Christmas decorations this year. Caleb wasn't too pleased. It took us far too long to get that tree up and then the tree came down far too quickly (though not fast enough for me- I needed more room to store boxes!).

Caleb is a big help with decorating the Christmas tree.

Santa visited Bryce and Ian as well though the jumper may have been a gift for mommy and her sanity.

Drew was very thoughtful this year. He bought me a kindle! I love it so much especially because it makes reading while feeding the babies a lot easier because it is so light weight.
I also feel the need to explain why I have a large goose bump on my forehead...let me just say that it involved a crowded closet, me trying to get to the back of said closet and a table leaf edge being stepped on. Picture me stepping on a rake and then put the table leaf in place of the rake. I now have a scar on my forehead to show for it. And yes, it hurt. A lot.
